Why people are so found of eating fast food? The most Simple and quite understandable answer is because 1. It is takes less time to prepare 2. It is very delicious 3. It might be very cheap as well 4. Easy to carry, etc.

Fast foods offering multiple benefits will certainly induce everybody to prefer it over other diets. But have you seen the other side of the coin? Rather I should say that do we recognize the fact that fast food is cancerous to our health? Because we all know pretty well about bundle of harms fast food gives to our body, but we all have become very careless & inconsiderate.
When I go through the statistics of number of people effected by the fast food in recent years, I gets shock that what has happened to our mentality? We all have become self-hatred. Because we are very good in doing cost & benefit analysis what it comes to business decision or any other decision, But when it comes to our health, care, fitness issues we become sluggish and lethargic.
Statistics showing Bad effects of Fast Food
According to US department of HHS nearly 0.6 Million people die each year due to poor diet or lack of physical activity. (Remember that Fast food is also considered as poor diet because of less amount of natural nutrition and high amount of fats, sugar, chemicals).
In the year 2000 USA spend $61 Billion on Obesity issues, Since then Obesity prevention spending is on the rise. Today USA spends a huge amount of $117 Billion each year on Obesity prevention.
Statistics shows that today 15% of the children are obese, only in USA more than 12.5 million children are overweight.
Women in large numbers faces pregnancy complications due to obesity.
In Europe nearly 60% and in USA 63% people are obese.
Currently 36.9% of American are facing heart disease.
Above statistics shows obesity as major cause of fast food, but researches shown that effected many people through heart disease, liver disease, digestive problems and diabetes etc.
Now it is worth considering for us to see where we stand? I am not stressing to completely forgo fast food, but we have to eat fast food less often, eating fresh food most regularly. If we do not give heed to this, then we might become part of these worse statistics in the near future.
