Highly glamorous, eminent, luxurious & the lucrative modelling industry has attracted many young people and made them to ask a question from themselves; Can I become a model?

In the twenty-first century this is a very tricky question to answer because of tough competition, high standards and entry for new comers in shape of required resources and references needed to help them to introduce them in the industry.

However if you have passion and if you full fill the mandatory requirements so you can surely become a model. Then all you need is constant hardwork; and if you cross all these hurdles then get ready to run over the red-carpet and listening cameramen asking you for a pose & public shouting  for an autograph.

 What is Basic Criteria of Becoming a Model?

Becoming a model requires crossing many hurdles, the 1st test is to see that whether you meet the basic criteria of becoming a model. It includes, 1. Face beauty 2. Hight (Ideally 5’7, 5’8 for females and 6, 6’2 for males) 3. Weight 4. Figure 5. Skin fairness & 6. Confidence.

If you meet all these requirements so get happy you have passed the initial test. However if you don’t meet these requirements or any of them so you still needs not to worry. You can still manage this. You can follow strict programs to work on above mentioned basics requirements.

However if you lack more than two basic requirements so my humble request will be to take a suggestion from any fashion expert (Not from fashion agency, as they work for profit only) to tell you about the possibilities that whether you can manage to overcome those weakness or not.

Requirement to Become a Model

If you have crossed the basic criteria of becoming a model so now you have to work for the ultimate success. Now the targets you needs to achieve are 1. Work on your running style 2. Improve you body language 3. Do regular workouts to maintain healthy body.

4. Make your personalize distinguished style of walking, talking, and dressing 5. Use beauty products to enhance your beauty further 6. Try to avoid smoking, alcohol and other negative habits to make things going well.

What to do Next?

Once you have done dedicated amount of efforts over a period of time so get ready for final drive to count yourself in the models’ list. Now it is the time for you to get involved in the practical modelling work.

1. Attach yourself with modelling agency 2. Take the service of professional photographer to take your professional snaps and get it reviewed by expert model 3. Start work with freelancer 4. Participate in modelling contests 5. Grab any opportunity to involve in public confronting activities such as hosting, singing, delivering Speech  etc, this will give you lot of confidence to face the public and will ultimately make you much confident.
